Wakaw RCMP responded to a report of a sudden death at a residence on One Arrow First Nation on November 29th at approximately 10:30am.

On arrival police located 24-year-old Monique Gamble from One Arrow First Nation deceased at the scene. Her cause of death has not been released.

As a result of the investigation by Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes, 21-year-old Harry Paul from One Arrow First Nation has been arrested and charged with one count, second-degree murder. Police said the victim and accused were known to each other.
