Colten Boushie 22, was fatally shot on a farm in the Battle River country on August 9th after the vehicle he was in drove into a farm to change a flat tire.

Colten Boushie and 4 other friends were in the car when Gerald Stanley, 54 the owner of the farm smashed the car window .  The 5 tried to drive away but ran into a parked car, and then fled on foot.

Boushie was  shot and killed by Stanley.

Gerald Stanley has been charged with second degree murder.
