Edmonton police responded to a disturbance call in the neighbourhood of Rosenthal, near 84 Avenue and 219 Street on April 28th at approximately 3:30pm.
Police arrived to find a 34 year old Nathan Curley lying in the street, suffering from serious injury. Paramedics rushed the victim to hospital where he later died of his injuries.
Branden John Morin, 26, of Edmonton has been charged with manslaughter. Police said the victim and the accused were known to one another.
