Dawson Creek RCMP were called to a residence in Kelly Lake on report of an assault on August 16th at approximately 7:30pm. 

Police arrived to find a 54-year-old man who was fatally injured. Police have not released the identity of the victim or cause of death at this time. 24-year-old Morgen Lambert-Bouma was arrested at the scene and charged with second-degree murder.
