Police sad Nathan Ermine, 29, and Raven Don Constant, 24, were initially charged with aggravated assault following the beating of 40-year-old Cornell Henry on October. 23, 2017, at the Saskatoon Correctional Centre.

Henry was taken to hospital where where he was placed in an induced coma due to his severe head injuries. Henry died from his injuries on November 3rd.

On April 11th 2018, Ermine’s charge was upgraded to manslaughter.
