Clemence Beaulieu-Patr 20, an employee at the Maxi grocery store in St-Michel was stabbed in the neck by a man at around 8:30 pm on April 10th while working her shift in the clothing section.

Police arrived to find Beaulieu-Patr dead at the scene.

The suspect has been identified as black man in his late 20s standing at around 5’8″. Police couldn’t confirm if the victim and suspect were known to each other.

**Update**

Randy Tshilumba 19 of Montreal has been arrested and charged with first degree murder.

Tshilumba and Beaulieu-Patry, had attended École secondaire Louis-Riel together, but police couldn’t confirm the nature of their relationship.
