Kamloops police were called to a report of a shooting on Feb. 15, where two people were shot at a Brocklehurst apartment.
Police said Jason Glover died of his injuries in hospital, while Kelly Callfas was hospitalized with injuries suffered from a gunshot wound to the face.
Police said the incident was related to the city’s ongoing gang conflict and drug trade.

B.C. Supreme Court Justice handed Hugh Alexander McIntosh, 52, a mandatory 25 years in jail for the first-degree murder of Jason Glover, and 12-year sentence, to be served concurrently, for the attempted murder of Kelly Callfas, who was shot in the face.
