Mohamed Jama Abdi, of Brooks was reported missing on July 24. He hadn’t been heard from since July 14.

Even though his body has not been found Police are treating his disappearance as a homicide.

A Canada wide arrest warrant for second degree murder was issued for Ali Abdullahi Awale. Police believe that Awale boarded a flight to Somalia on July 23.

**UPDATE**

RCMP have found human remains in a farmers feild in Brooks, 10 months after second -degree murder warrants were issued in connection with Mohamed Jama Abdi.  An autopsy will determine if the remains are of  Abdi.
