Calgary 2026 Homicide Victim List

Officers responded to a home in the 13000 block of Canterbury Gardens S.W. at around 10:50 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 8, after receiving a report of a deceased woman in her 80s.

An autopsy conducted the following day by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner determined that  83-year-old Sharon Helene Roberts death was the result of a homicide.

Authorities say the incident is domestic in nature, and the victim’s daughter, Tonnya MARISSE, 52, of Calgary, has now been charged with one count of second-degree murder.

Police are asking anyone with information related to the case to contact them directly.
