Maskwacis RCMP were called to assist EMS at a home located in Ermineskin Cree Nation on December 9th at approximately 1:50pm.

A woman was found deceased on the living-room floor, with signs of trauma. Major Crimes took carraige of the investigation.

On Jan. 15 police arrested and charged an 18-year-old man with second-degree murder in the case.
