Regina, Saskatchewan 2026 Homicide Victim List

Police in Regina are investigating the city’s fifth homicide of 2026 following the death of a 37-year-old woman.

Early on the morning of August 14, around 4 a.m., officers were called to the west alley in the 1400 block of Wascana Street after receiving a report of an injured person.

When police arrived, they found Rebecca Autumn Wilson Mathieson suffering from significant injuries. She was taken to hospital by EMS, but sadly, she died on August 30.

The Regina Police Service Major Crimes Unit is now working alongside the Saskatchewan Coroners Service to determine what happened and what led to Mathieson’s death.
