Saskatoon, Saskatchewan 2026 Homicide Victim List

Shortly after 8:30 p.m. on April 15, 2026, police were called to an apartment in the 1100 block of Avenue W North after reports of an injured, unresponsive person.

Officers and emergency crews attempted life-saving measures, but the individual was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Saskatoon Police Service Major Crime Section has taken over the investigation, which is now being treated as the city’s fifth homicide of 2026.

Update: Saskatoon Police announced that a 15-year-old individual was arrested on August 5, 2026 in connection to a homicide that occurred on the evening of April 15, 2026; they have been charged with Second Degree Murder as a result.
