Montreal, Quebec 2026 Homicide Victim List

Montreal police were called to an apartment on Everett Street, near 9th Avenue, at around 12:30 p.m. on March 31st.

When officers arrived, they discovered 18-year-old Katerine Alejandra Mejia Salinas, unresponsive inside the residence. She was declared dead at the scene. Police have not released the cause of death, however, authorities later confirmed that her death was the result of a homicide.

A 20-year-old Heberth Gudiel Martinez Ramirez was taken in for questioning and charged with second-degree murder.
