Clinton RCMP were called to a residence in the 2600-block of Komori Road, 70 Mile House on December 26th at around 11:30am.

On arrival police located a 52-year-old man suffering critical injuries and began life-saving efforts. The victim was pronounced at the scene by paramedics.

S/Sgt. Janelle Shoihet of the BC RCMP said a 62-year-old man, who is known to the victim was arrested and has since been released but has not yet been charged. Police believe an isolated incident and there’s no ongoing risk to the public.

There is no other information at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
