Saskatoon police responded to a report of an assault in the 300 block of Avenue R South at approximately 5:35 p.m on February 9th .

Police arrived to find a 41-year-old Terrance Paintednose suffering from a stab wound. The victim was rushed to hospital where police reported he died of his injuries on February 10th

SPS Major Crime Section have arrested a 22 year old man and charged him with Second Degree Murder, Robbery, and Breach of Probation (x2) .
