Emergency crews responded to reports of an injured man on June 18th on Avenue E S at around 1:30 p.m. Police said the 24 year old man was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries.
An autopsy was conducted and determined the death to be homicide. The cause of death and the name of the victim has not been made public at this time.
The suspect was wearing dark clothing and a ball cap, was last seen running south on Avenue D from 19th Street.

Update October 5th
A 28 year old man has been arrested and charged second degree murder, possession of a weapon for committing an offense. Police have not released the name of the accused at this time.
