Maskwacis RCMP responded to a 911 report of a shooting in a residence on August 5th at approximately 4:00am.

Police and EMS arrived to find a 10-year-old boy deceased at the scene. A 13-year-old youth was arrested at the scene. Following the autopsy the teen was charged with manslaughter and is scheduled to appear in court on September 2nd.
