Police were called to the Howard Johnson Hotel on April 19th at around 3:20am after a hotel employee called 911 reporting gunshots.

Police arrived at the scene to find a 34 year old man dead in the lobby with apparent gunshot wounds.

Brandon Tyler Woody, 30,  was arrested an hour after the shooting, and has been charged with First Degree Murder and one count of Possessing a Firearm while prohibited.
