Longueuil police responded to the report of a body in a blue Toyota Echo located in a parking lot near Roland-Therrien Boulevard and du Tremblay Road in Longueuil, Que, on January 5th at 1:20pm.

Police located the victim, 54-year-old Manon Boisvert, with signs of violence, parked behind the Caisse Desjardins Pierre-Boucher. The cause of death has not been released, however police said “At this stage of the investigation, we are now able to confirm that it was a murder.” Police believe she was killed several days earlier, on the evening of Jan. 2.
