Winnipeg police investigate the fatal shooting of Tyler Patrick Yarema

Winnipeg Police responded to a report of gunshots at a single-family residence in the 200 block of Forrester Avenue on November 29th at approximately 5:30am.

On arrival police located Tyler Patrick YAREMA, 42, of Winnipeg Suffering from a gunshot wound. Police commenced  emergency medical care until paramedics arrived, and rushed the vistim to hospital. YAREMA died of his injuries at the hospital.

The investigation into this incident is continuing by the Winnipeg Police Homicide Unit. Anyone with information is asked to call 204-986-6508 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).

Update: January 11th
Keegan Shamus LITTLE, 24, has been charged with Second Degree Murder. He was detained in custody.

Police are searching for four additional suspects, and arrest warrants for Second Degree Murder have been issued for them.

Upadte: On January 12, 2022, Winnipeg Police Homicide Unit arrested Jamie Rae SHORTING, 24, of Winnipeg, for the murder of Tyler YAREMA, who was shot and killed on November 29, 2021.

Update: On January 19th Winnipeg police arrested Jamie Lee RUDOLPH, 33, of Winnipeg, and charged him with Second Degree Murder. He was detained in custody.

Update: On January 20, the Homicide Unit arrested Jake Steven DUCHARME32, of Winnipeg,he has been charged with Second Degree Murder and detained in custody.
