Toronto police responded to a two-alarm fire at a home on Stallion Pl., in the area of Hwy. 27 and Rexdale Blvd.

It has been reported that Yvonne Bachelor-Vassell, 61, died at the scene. The victim’s son Joel Vassell, 24, of Richmond Hill was arrested at the scene and is facing a charge of first-degree murder.
