Saskatoon police responded to a report of a teenager in medical distress at a business in the 2300 block of Arlington Avenue on November 2nd at approximately 11:52am.
Police and paramedics arrived to find a 15-year-old boy suffering from serious injuries. Despite lifesaving attempts, the teen was pronounced at the scene. An autopsy was completed on November 4th, and determined the cause of death to be a gunshot wound.
On November 5th Major Crime investigators with the assistance of the Guns and Gangs Unit, Forensic Identification, Tech Crimes, Integrated Intelligence, the Drug Unit and Patrol, conducted searched in three homes. The teens are facing second-degree murder charges in relation to the death of the 15-year-old boy.

One of the three teens, a 16-year-old Saskatoon boy pleaded guilty in provincial court on June 23rd to second-degree murder in relation to the shooting of 15-year-old Gilbert Kagabo.
