An argument on a public bus leads to the stabbing death of a man in Richmond BC

The IHIT said a random argument started at approximately 2 pm on a public bus near No3 Rd and Cambie Rd on July 23rd between a 42-year-old man and a 22-year-old man.

The 42-year-old man was stabbed during the altercation and rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries. The suspect was arrested at the scene. The identity of the victim and suspect have not been released at this time. IHIT’s Sgt. Frank Jang said “Determining what initiated the dispute between the two men involved will be a key priority for our investigators,”

Gregory Joseph Scuby found dead in Richmond BC

Richmond RCMP received a report of a body in the 16600-block of Dyke Road , from a passerby, on May 17th at 11:15am.

IHIT has confirmed that the victim is Gregory Joseph Scuby 42 of Richmond.

Police have not released the cause of death, only saying that the death of Scuby is suspicious. Scuby was well known to police and investigators are working to determine motive.
