Richmond RCMP responded to the report of a shooting at YVR Airport near the domestic departure terminal at approximately 3:00pm on May 9th.

Airport police and paramedics attended the scene where the 28-year-old Karman Grewal who was allegedly associated with United Nations gang was pronounced deceased. Sgt. Frank Jang, said Grewal victim was known to police and the incident is believed to be part of the ongoing Lower Mainland gang conflict.

Richmond RCMP officers intercepted and pursued the getaway SUV when they were shot at near No. 3 Road and Sea Island Way. A dash cam video captured by @KyleBryan shows the police pursuit and the sound of gunshots coming from the suspect’s SUV.

The vehicle was later located torched in Surrey BC, and the suspects are still at large. No further details yet at this time.
