Suspect arrested in Montreal’s 24th homicide of 2020

Montreal police responded to the report of a shooting on November 19th in the northern Montreal borough of Villeray.

Police arrived to find a 49-year-old man suffering from serious injuries. Police said he was shot while he sat in a parked vehicle on Fabre St. The victim was rushed to hospital where he died of a gunshot wound.

A 23-year-old man was arrested in connection to the homicide on November 21st in the LaSalle borough.
