Brampton Ontario 2026 Homicide Victim List

Peel Regional Police responded to a shooting incident in the area of Dartford Road and Balmoral Drive in Brampton on January 30, shortly after 5:30 p.m.

Police confirmed that an adult male was shot and initially transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries. Sadly, the victim has since succumbed to his injuries.

Investigators believe the incident appears to be isolated to a residence, and there is currently no known risk to the general public.

There remains a large police presence in the area as the investigation continues. Residents and motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternate routes where possible.
