Saskatoon Homicide #9 – 52-year-old Noreen Moore found dead in an Avenue V South apartment.

Saskatoon police were dispatched to check on the welfare of a woman in an apartment in the 200 block of Avenue V South on July 5th at approximately 4:30 pm.

Police arrived to find a 52-year-old Noreen Moore deceased in the residence. An autopsy was conducted on July 10th and revealed the death to be a homicide. Police have not released the cause of death at this time. CBC News reported that family members confirmed the victim’s identity to be Noreen Victorine¬†Moore.

Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call Police at 306-975-8300 and ask to speak to a member of the Major Crimes Section or call Crime Stoppers.

Update July 22
Trent Ty Moore, 32, of Moose Jaw has been charged with second-degree murder in the death of his 52-year-old mother.
