The 2023 Mississauga Homicide Victim List is available here

Peel police were called to an apartment building located at 28 Helene Street North in Mississauga to conduct a well-being check of a female resident on July 20, 2023, at approximately 12:15 p.m.

Upon entry police located located 21-year-old Pitch Phaunpa deceased. Her death is being investigated as a homicide believed to have occurred between July 17 and July 18. 

This remains an active investigation; anyone with information is urged to contact Homicide detectives at 905-453-2121 extension 3205.
