Ottawa police responded to a shooting near the intersection of George and Dalhousie streets, on July 1st at approximately 3:00 am.
Police said they heard the shots while in the area and attended the scene. The victim was found in like threatening condition. The victim was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries.
The victim has been identified as 21 year old Ryan Kabuya-Ntumba. Police have no suspects at this time and ask that anyone with information call the Ottawa Police Service Major Crime Unit at 613-236-1222, ext. 5477.
Update July 6th.
A warrant has been issued for the arrested of Moadd Maadani. He is described as Middle Eastern male, 6′ / 160 lbs, slim build with short black hair shaved on sides, dark chin strap beard, Maadani should be considered dangerous, if you see him, please call 9-1-1.
