RCMP responded to the report of an altercation involving a gun late afternoon on January 3rd in Natuashish Newfoundland.

The victim was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries later that day. Police have not released the victim’s identity at this time.

Police said Etienne Jacobish has been taken in to custody and has been charged with first degree murder.

Update: On December 7, 2021, Jacobish entered a guilty plea. He remains in custody and is set to attend court on February 16, 2022, to receive his sentence.
