Moose Lake RCMP responded to a report of an injured man located outside of a residence on Portage Road on January 4th at approximately 6:05am.
Police located the 28-year-old man suffering from life-threatening injuries. He was rushed to hospital in The Pas where he was pronounced deceased.
No arrests have been made, and Moose Lake RCMP, along with Major Crime Services and RCMP Forensic Identification Services, continue to investigate.
Update: On August 17, 2022, RCMP charged 23-year-old Lacey Jade Nasekapow with 2nd Degree Murder. The victim’s identity has not been released. Moose Lake RCMP are requesting the community’s assistance in locating 23-year-old Tia Rolande Grey who has also been charged with 2nd Degree Murder.
