Montreal police investigating the city’s 16th homicide of the year

Emergency crews responded to a report of an unconscious person on Lapierre Avenue near Pascal Street in Montreal-north on October 25th.

The victim, a 23-year-old man, has not been identified, and the investigation into his death is ongoing. Police said the victim was found after three men were shot at near Matte Avenue and Pierre street in Montreal north the same night. The three men sustained non-lifethreatening injuries.

Police said the two incidents are related but did not offer any other information.
