Montreal police responded to a 911 report of a man who had shot and injured a woman in an apartment on Sherbrooke St. W. near Chomedey St on December 25th at 10:45am.
Police arrived at the scene and found the female victim in life-threatening condition, suffering from a gunshot wound to her upper body, and her 60-year-old husband deceased. Police confirmed that he had shot himself.
The victim was rushed to hospital where she died of her injuries. The victim’s identity has not been released by authorities.
