Officers from Durham Police’s West Division responded to a call for medical assistance at the Ajax GO Station, located at 110 Westney Road on Sunday, June 22, 2025, around 11:30 p.m. When they arrived, they found an unconscious man with gunshot wounds.

The victim was rushed to a trauma centre in Toronto, where he later died from his injuries.

The deceased has been identified as 28-year-old Isaiah LITTLE of Ajax.  

Police are now searching for a suspect and are asking the public for help. Investigators are especially interested in any video footage, including dashcam or surveillance, from the area between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m., as the shooting is believed to have occurred during that time.

Update: On Thursday, June 26, 2025, Clifford Matthew BARRAS, 33, of Ajax, was arrested and charged with Second-Degree Murder.
