Update: police release the name of the victim and the accused – Man dies from stab wounds in Hamilton’s 6th Homicide

Hamilton Police responded to a disturbance at the Coco Bongo Lounge in Hamilton at approximately 3:30 am on September 10th.

Police found a man suffering from life threatening wounds. the victim was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries. Police said the Toronto man was injured as the bar was letting out.

Police are urging witnesses to come forward. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Doug Jonovich of the homicide unit by calling 905-546-4863.

Update September 16th
Police released the name of the suspect after he appeared in court. Samson Aristor 29. Aristor is facing a first degree murder charge in the death of Reald Vercani 33, of Toronto.

Update October 16th, 2019
The jury has found Samson Aristor  guilty of second-degree murder in the fatal stabbing of a 33-year-old Reald Vercani . Aristor was convicted of second degree murder in the morning of October 16th.
