Winnipeg police and paramedics responded to a report of a man who had been assaulted and was suffering from serious injuries in the 100 block of Salter Street, on March 16th at approximately 2:40am.
Police arrived to find John Gabriel, 38, suffering from life threatening injuries. The victim was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
