West Grey Police responded to a shooting at a home on Grey Road 4 on July 15th at approximately 3:04AM in West Grey.

On arrival police located a deceased 62-year-old person neat Walter’s Falls. Police said the deceased person is believed to be the victim of the West Grey shooting. Shortly after the discovery police announced that they were searching for Kodie Hearsum, 34, in relation to the murder.

West Region OPP and Central Region OPP responded to the area of Walters Falls on June 17th at approximately 1:48pm, after receiving information that a wanted suspect was seen in the area. Kodie Hearsum, 34, was arrested shortly after 3:30pm. Police have not announced what charges Hearsum is facing.
