Police responded to reports of a shooting in what police called an illegal after hours lounge above Thymeless bar at 355 College St, in Toronto in the early hours on July 1st.

Police arrived to find Justin Bokma, 42, a former pro Skateboarder and Doorman at the after-hours club dead at the scene. Lafrance Lloyd Matthews ,41, in serious condition. Matthews was a father of two and a popular bartender at Einstein Café and Pub died in hospital of his injuries. Police said there were two more victims, a 34 year old man and a 45 year old man,  with non life threatening injuries, who are expected to survive.
