Surrey RCMP Police Mental Health Outreach Team was conducting foot patrols in the 11300-block of Bridgeview Drive on June 4th at approximately 8:00am when they found a deceased man.
Police said the death appears suspicious and The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team will be taking conduct of the investigation with assistance from the Surrey RCMP.

Update December 17th
The IHIT has identified the deceased as Carlos Palafox, 40, who was from Mexico and new to the Surrey area, looking for a place to stay. Palafox was found murdered in a wooded area known as The Sanctuary.
The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team says Invinceable Green, 35, was charged on December 1st with second-degree murder.
