The Edmonton Police Service is investigating the death of 74-year-old Arnie Kik Foon Ng, who was found deceased at a residence in central Edmonton following a reported family dispute on June 1, 2026.

Police responded to a condominium complex near Garnett Point in west Edmonton at about 3:45 p.m. During the arrest of 36-year-old Jeremy Wai Keung Ng, officers received information about another address near 104 Avenue and 123 Street. Police went to the location and found the 74-year-old man dead. The two men were known to each other.

An autopsy completed on June 2 determined that Arnie Ng died from sharp force injuries. Jeremy Ng has since been charged with second-degree murder in connection with the death.
