The 2023 Mississauga Homicide Victim List is available here

Police said Gurvinder Nath, 24, a food delivery driver, was working in the area of Britannia Road and Creditview Road, in the City of Mississauga on July 9th at 2:10 a.m.

When Nath arrived at the delivery address, he was confronted by unknown suspects who attempted to take his vehicle when a physical altercation occurred. The suspect fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle, leaving him at the side of the road.

Gurvinder Nath was transported to a trauma center where on July 14, 2023 he succumbed to his injuries.

Update: On Wednesday, November 22, 2023, police arrested a young person in relation to the homicide. The young person has been charged with Second Degree Murder and held in custody to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.

Update: On February 15, 2024, Peel Police executed a search warrant at a Brampton residence, locating the second accused party and a firearm. A 21-year-old Brampton man, Jazaine Kerr has been charged with the following offences: 

– Second Degree Murder 

– Unauthorized possession of a firearm 

– Careless storage of a firearm
