Brantford, Ontario 2026 Homicide Victim List

Police were called to a motel near Colborne Street and Locks Road at around 7:00 p.m. on Monday, February 9, 2026, after receiving reports of a disturbance involving two men. When officers arrived, they located one man deceased, with evidence suggesting he had been assaulted.

A 42-year-old Brantford resident was arrested at the scene and charged with second-degree murder. He was taken into custody and held for a bail hearing.
