Peel Regional Police responded to a report of suspicious circumstances in the area of Aquinas Avenue and Sebastian Drive, in Mississauga on February 4th at approximately 2:21 am.

It has been reported that two men were seen walking along Sebastian Drive and became involved in an altercation with one another. One man then fell to the ground and the other fled on foot.

Police arrived to find Christopher Birrell, a 24-year-old man of no fixed address suffering from stab wounds. Birrell was pronounced deceased at the scene.
