The 2022 New Brunswick Homicide Victim List is available here

New Brunswick RCMP responded to a check on welfare on December 29th, at approximately 2 a.m. the previous night, asking them to check the well-being of a person.

On arrival police located Réjean Hébert deceased outside his home in the Acadian Peninsula. His cause of death has not been released at this time.

Hébert was the news director at the CKRO Radio Péninsule radio station.

A 29-year-old man was arrested on December 29th in Bathurst. Investigators have not released his identity or relationship to the deceased.
