The 2021 Brantford Homicide Victim List is available here
Brantford Police and EMS personnel responded to an Alfred Street residence after receiving reports of a male with gunshot injuries on April 17th at approximately 1:00pm.
The victim was located suffering from gunshot wounds was pronounced deceased at the scene. Police have identified the victim as 19-year-old Brantford resident, Nebiyu Myers.
Police are looking for a suspect male matching the following description:
- 20-25 year old, dark-skinned male
- between 5’10” and 6’2”
- between 160 and 180 pounds
- wearing dark clothing and a black face mask

Update May 7th
Elijah MARFOH, 18-years-old, of Brantford has been charged with 1st degree murder, firearms offences and breaching a court order.
Update May 25th
leveland VANEVERY, 19, of Ohsweken, has been charged with 1st Degree Murder, firearms offences, drug possession, as well as breach of a court order.
