Arrest made in Mississauga’s latest homicide of a 21-year-old man

Peel police were called to a disturbance in the area of Hull Street and Airport Road in the City of Mississauga on September 17th at approximately 8:00pm.

It has been reported that two groups of men became involved in an altercation that resulted in two of the men being shot. The victims were rushed to hospital where the 21-year-old male victim from Brampton, died as a result of the injuries. The second man was later released from hospital.

Police arrested Jastaran Sandhu, an 18-year-old man from Mississauga on September 18th and charged him with first-degree murder.

Update: October 28, 2021, police arrested a 16-year-old male from the City of Brampton. He has been charged with First Degree Murder, Aggravated Assault and numerous firearm related offences.
