UPDATE: Anthony Brake, Suspect in Toronto homicide arrested in Halifax for the death of David Brenner

Emergency crews were dispatched to the area Davenport and Old Weston Roads on report of an injured man, on September 22, at around 2:30pm.

Paramedics treated the man for severe head trauma, however he was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of death was blunt force trauma.

On Saturday September 24th police released a photograph of the suspect, Anthony Brake 46 of Toronto. Det. Robert North released information that authorities received a call Sunday September 25th at around 1am that Brake was in a home in Halifax. Brake was arrested and is facing second degree murder charges in the death of the 47 year old man.

Toronto police released the name of the victim as David Brenner 47.
