Police in Quesnel British Columbia are investigating a homicide after an adult male was taken to GR Baker Memorial Hospital with life-threatening injuries on November 8th.
Hospital staff were unable to save the victim and he succumbed to his injuries. The Victim’s identity and cause of death have not been released at this time.
Investigation lead police to execute a search warrant at a home in the 400 block of Willis Street of Quesnel.
Cpl. Madonna Saunderson stated “Police believe this to be a targeted incident and have no information to suggest that the greater public is at further risk.”

Update August 25th 2026: A 54-year-old Quesnel man has been charged with second-degree murder in connection with the 2018 death of 31-year-old Rodney Clement.
After nearly eight years of investigation involving multiple RCMP units, the BC Prosecution Service approved the murder charge against Shane Edison Fralic on August 22, 2026. Police say investigators remain committed to seeking justice for Clement and his family.
