Provincial totals still to come
While the CMA figures provide an important snapshot of homicide numbers across Canada’s urban centres, they do not provide the complete provincial totals.
We are therefore waiting for the provincial figures before updating our own homicide numbers. This will allow us to ensure our totals accurately reflect all homicide victims recorded within each province, rather than relying solely on CMA data.
Once the provincial totals are released, we will review the figures and update our numbers accordingly.
