St Albert police were called to a home in the Riverside area of the city on July 17th at 10 p.m.

On arrival police located two teenage girls, aged 17 and 13, both suffering from multiple stab wounds. The victims were rushed to hospital where Jaeden Chaisson, 17, died of her injuries.

A gofundme campaign has been created to help the family with funeral costs.

Kaj Alexander Randall, 28, was initially charged with attempted murder however he is now charged with a first-degree murder charge.

Investigators said the victim and accused were known to each other.
